PAYMENTS:
ONLINE SESSIONS:
• A 1 hour cancellation notice is required for online casual sessions. Should you not give the required notice then your payment is forfeited and cannot be refunded.
• No transferring remaining sessions to another person or to another day.
• Well Warrior does not operate on public holidays (unless otherwise advised).
• Well Warrior closes down over the Christmas/ New Year period for approximately 2 weeks.
IN PERSON SESSIONS:
• Due to the limited number of spots available all in person events are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• The only time a payment can be transferred or refunded is if the session is cancelled or postponed due to weather.
BREATHWORK DISCLAIMER:
• During a Well Warrior breathwork journey, we will be exploring the power of our breath. As a part of the practice, you will experience breath holds after inhale and breath holds after exhale. Breath is connected to our circulatory system and can change the heart rate and other bodily functions. It is important to be aware of these changes and avoid long breath holds if needed.
• This disclaimer does not provide advice on a particular matter, nor does it substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified medical professional. No warranty of safety should result from its use.
• No responsibility or liability whatsoever can be accepted by Well Warrior or Soma Breath for any loss, damage or injury that may arise from any person acting on any statement or information contained in this tool.
• This form is an agreement between yourself (the client) and Well Warrior for the duration of your time using Well Warriors services. You will always be under the terms of this agreement until you cease doing breathwork. Should you cease breathwork for longer than 6 months this form will need to be completed again.
Please know anyone can participate in Breathwork however if you experience any of the following it is strongly recommended to not participate in the breath holds:
- Acute, severe or virus illness
- Epilepsy
- Cardiovascular conditions (arrhythmias, high blood pressure, pacemaker, heart attack, angina, heart disease etc)
- Pregnancy
- Tinnitus
- Hernias
- Lung and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPDII & COPD-III)
- Chronic disease, organ failure or terminal illness
- Intolerance of oxygen insufficiency
- Cold, flu or fever
• If you experience any of the contraindications above, or any other medical condition not listed, and still decide to participate in the breath holds and breathwork in general, please know you do so at your own risk.
• Breathwork is a personal growth experience designed to enhance the quality of life and it is not a substitute for therapy of psychology services.
• Breathwork may involve strong connected breathing and guided meditation which can result in dramatic experiences accompanied by strong emotional and physical responses. Breathwork may be physically, emotionally and/ or mentally stressful.
• Breathwork is not medically supervised therefore it is advised you speak with your GP or therapist if you have any questions or concerns about your physical and/ or mental health.
• It is always recommended that you gently include breath holds to improve your health. It is always safer to build up your tolerance slowly and steadily. If at any time you feel uncomfortable during a breath hold simply return to your normal breathing. Always listen to your body.
• You acknowledge that your photograph or video may be taken during the session and may be used for marketing purposes.
